Dr.Shankle

Dr. Shankle is a board certified neurologist, specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and management of Alzheimer's disease and related disorders (ADRD). He co-founded the Alzheimer's Research Clinic at University of California, Irvine, in 1987 and served as a clinical director for 10 years. Following that endeavor, he initiated a community based dementia program, the Shankle Clinic, in 1997 to deliver his medical knowledge and share his personal experiences as a caregiver to more patients and families.

Dr. Shankle received his bachelor degree in Biology from Stanford University and his MD from Brown University. He trained as a statistician at the University of Southern California with postgraduate studies at Harvard, as an internist at Cook County Hospital, and finally, as a neurologist at LA County/USC Medical Center. Dr.Tsai

Dr. Tsai is a board certified internist specializes in the management of dementia related medical problems. "I treat each patient as if he or she were a member of my own family - a mother, father, sister or brother. To me, this means seeing each patient as soon as possible, returning calls in a timely manner, and thoroughly explaining test results. I like to educate my patients." He joined the Shankle Clinic in 2005.

Dr. Tsai received his Undergraduate degree at the University of California, Los Angeles, Dept. of Biology and his MD from St. Geroge's University, Grenada. Completed his residency training at New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens, in Flushing and at Memorial Sloane Kettering Cancer Center, in New York City. Dr. Tsai also volunteered with the New York Free Clinic in Queens. During medical school he was a member of an honor society. Currently, Dr. Tsai is an assistant clinical professor of medicine for the University of California, Irvine. Read more.
